Physical Description:
Finlay has dark mahogany hair and dark brown, close-set eyes framed with neat, thick lashes. A spattering of freckles across her cheeks offsets otherwise clear skin and a slightly snubbed nose lends her a sweet, child-like appearance. She stands at 5'6" and has although she's hardly skinny, the curves she wears aren't drastic.

Emotional Description:
Finlay seems to be constantly wearing a coy little smile. She's extremely intelligent - although she rarely lets on - and notices more than people realise. She quiet, but hardly serious. Since growing from a girl to a woman, she's picked up a decidedly flirtatious air.

Life History:
Born within the Weyr and fostered at a young age, Finlay grew up with countless children passing through her weyr. At first she was a petulant child - never seeming to receive enough of her foster-mother's attention and always meeting one or another new little brother or sister. However, as she grew, she begun to develop into a bright little spark. She soon learned how to manipulate both her foster-parents and -siblings so that although she rarely asked for what she wanted, she almost always got it.

When she reached an age where the issue of an apprenticeship was raised by her exhausted family, Finlay jumped at the opportunity. She chose healing as her craft and the introduction of healing others introduced a new aspect to her character - unselfishness. She grew a long way from the cheeky, manipulative and sometimes cruel little girl to the young woman she is now, and learned to use her intelligence for good instead of evil, as the saying goes.

Not long after walking the tables to senior apprentice, Finlay was met by a surprise. A visiting Searchrider chose her to stand for a clutch at Turquoise Weyr and it was at the very first clutch which she Impressed her soul-mate, green Zarlith.

She hatched last in her clutch, her egg large enough to hold a small brown, and despite her cheerful ways, she acts every inch the superior.
